About The Peak System

Peak is a reversal system that aims to take advantage of stocks that become heavily oversold and have minor bounce backs.  It is designed to trade CFDs and provides signals on the shares that make up the All Ordinaries Index (top 500 companies) which are available to be traded by most CFD providers.  Trade-lengths are short (estimated average trade length of 7 days with only 5 days for profitable trades and 12 days for losing trades) enabling traders to take advantage of compounding to assist to grow their account.
 
Peak is a short term system that trades frequently (up to 50 signals per year) and aims to make consistent profits regardless of the market condition ns despite only trading on the long side of the market.

All entry and exit signals are provided on an end of day basis which means the signals are provided after the market has closed and require action prior to the open the following day. To enter a trade, limit orders are placed below the current market price. If the market trades down to that level the following day, the trade will be initiated, if not, the order will be cancelled at the end of the trading day. All exits occur on the open the day after the exit signal is generated. This makes the system easy to trade for people that don’t have access to a computer during the day with orders placed in the evening to be transacted in the market the following trading day.
 
The entry criteria of Peak are a set of filters that analyse price data and isolate shares that have been oversold by the market and should recover in the short term. This is a different philosophy to many trading systems that buy stocks only after they have been going up. In contrast, Peak will signal stocks that have been going down but are due for a rise.
